De Paul honors Messi and late father with jersey tribute, receives yellow card

While playing for Inter Miami against Monterrey in the Leagues Cup, Rodrigo De Paul dedicated his goal to Lionel Messi and his father, Jorge, who has passed away. As he celebrated, De Paul took off his jersey to display Messi's number 10 shirt underneath. Because he was filling in as captain while Messi was out, De Paul was issued a yellow card for the celebration.
