Danve to challenge merger of 6 Sena (UBT) MPs with Shinde faction in court

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve has termed the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s approval of six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs joining the Eknath Shinde-led faction as unlawful and announced plans to contest it legally. Danve argued that the move breaches anti-defection regulations. Following this development, the total count of Shinde’s Sena members in the Lok Sabha has increased to 13.
