CWG silver winner Raja Muthupandi requests better weightlifting facilities in Tamil Nadu
Raja Muthupandi, who won a silver medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, has requested the Tamil Nadu government, led by CM Vijay, to set up weightlifting training facilities in every district. Expressing his gratitude, he noted, "I am pleased that CM Vijay declared a cash reward of ₹30 lakh the day following my medal win." Raja further stated, "I dedicate this silver medal to my parents and the citizens of Tamil Nadu."
