Container vessel traveling from India to UAE struck by missile off Pakistan coast

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations reported that a container ship came under attack in the Gulf of Oman. Data from marine tracking sites indicates the vessel was en route from India to the UAE. Early reports suggest the Panama-flagged ship, identified as Vela Nova, was struck by a missile approximately 71 nautical miles away from the coast of Pakistan.
