Congo Ebola outbreak could be four times larger than reported, WHO says

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has cautioned that the ongoing Ebola crisis in Congo might be two to four times more widespread than what official government figures indicate. The agency noted that 80% of new infections in the region are not connected to previously known patients. Current government records show that the virus has impacted 1,792 individuals in Congo, resulting in 625 deaths.
