Cognition AI secures $2 billion, valuation hits $48 billion

The AI coding firm Cognition AI has successfully closed a $2 billion Series E investment, pushing its total valuation to $48 billion. Since its last funding effort in May, the company has seen its run-rate revenue jump from $492 million to nearly $900 million. Cognition projects that its annualised revenue will climb to between $4 billion and $5 billion by the close of 2026.
