Coal India bags 600 MW solar power project worth ₹2,831 crore
Coal India has been issued a Letter of Award to develop a 600 MW solar power facility at the Jalaun Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh. The project is valued at approximately ₹2,831.11 crore and features a tariff rate of ₹2.73 per kWh. Meanwhile, the company reported a 7.5% rise in coal offtake for June, totaling 65.8 million tonnes, bringing the total offtake for the April–June period of FY27 to 197.7 million tonnes.
