Cleric issues fatwa following Aamir Khan's wedding to Gauri Spratt

Maulana Ibrahim Hussain, the Shahi Chief Mufti of the Muslim Personal Darul Ifta, has released a fatwa concerning Aamir Khan's recent marriage to Gauri Spratt. He stated that wedding a woman who is not Muslim violates Sharia law and brings disrepute to Islam. The Maulana added that these types of actions negatively impact the reputation of both the faith and Sharia.
