Civil Aviation Ministry calls Air India CEO over mid-air altitude drop incident

The Civil Aviation Ministry summoned Air India's outgoing CEO Campbell Wilson on Tuesday following reports that a flight from Phuket to Delhi suddenly lost 300 feet of altitude mid-flight. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has initiated an inquiry into the event. The meeting included the Civil Aviation Secretary along with top representatives from the AAIB and the DGCA to discuss general safety concerns.
