CID grills Abhishek Banerjee's associate for 10 hours over land scam

Sumit Roy, a close associate of TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, underwent a 10-hour interrogation by the Bengal CID on Saturday regarding a land fraud investigation in Salboni. Previously, the Supreme Court granted him protection from arrest until August 14, while ordering him to assist with the probe. Additionally, Roy faces allegations involving a job-for-money scheme.
