Chinese firm creates brain chip that reaches the brain via neck blood vessels in 10 minutes
StairMed Technology, a startup based in China, is working on a new brain chip that can be implanted in just 10 minutes. Unlike conventional chips, this device does not require invasive brain surgery. Instead, the chip is designed to be inserted into blood vessels in the neck, moving through the vascular system until it reaches the brain. While the technology has already undergone testing on sheep, it is still awaiting human clinical trials.
