China showcases robot capable of climbing walls for dangerous tasks

Lin Jian, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, posted footage of a construction robot using wheeled limbs to move effortlessly across a vertical wall. Equipped with two robotic arms, the machine was demonstrated performing hazardous work, such as welding. From the ground, an operator guided the robot's movements using motion controllers and a VR headset.
