China completes first successful controlled recovery of reusable rocket
China has reached a significant milestone by successfully retrieving its Long March 10B booster, representing the nation's inaugural controlled recovery of an orbital-class rocket. In a departure from the vertical landing method used by SpaceX, the Chinese system utilizes a sea-based net to catch the booster. This achievement is the result of years of engineering work and is intended to significantly lower expenses while boosting the number of launches for China’s growing space initiatives.
