Chennai: 84-year-old granite businessman held for sexually abusing minor
A prominent granite trader named R Veeramani has been taken into custody following allegations of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl in Chennai. The 84-year-old businessman was arrested alongside two of his associates, a husband and wife duo, in connection with the case which surfaced in October 2025. Investigations revealed that Veeramani had leased a property where his aides would bring various underage girls.
