Chandrayaan-3 findings connect lunar landing site soil to space meteorite
A recent study reveals that the soil examined by the Pragyan rover near the Moon's south pole shares a very similar chemical makeup with ALHA 81005, which was the first meteorite ever verified to be from the Moon. Researchers noted that the lunar dirt found at the Shiv Shakti Station landing site and the meteorite both feature comparable amounts of magnesium oxide, iron oxide, and aluminium oxide.
