CBI charges former judge Giribala and son in Twisha Sharma dowry death case
The CBI has submitted a 636-page chargesheet regarding the death of Twisha Sharma. The agency has charged her husband, Samarth Singh, and his mother, Giribala Singh—a retired judge—under the Dowry Prohibition Act and relevant sections of the BNS. The pair faces charges under section 108 and 3(5) of the BNS, which relate to the abetment of suicide. Twisha Sharma was discovered dead at her marital residence back in May.
