Cashfree introduces AI-powered Relay to handle SMB payment tasks
Cashfree Payments has introduced Relay, an AI-driven superagent designed to manage payment workflows for small and medium-sized businesses. The tool handles tasks like recovering abandoned shopping carts, verifying cash-on-delivery orders, and managing dispute filings. According to the company, 70% of Indian SMBs currently manage these processes manually, spending as much as 60 hours every week. Co-founder and CEO Akash Sinha stated that Relay reduces this workload to less than 45 minutes, calling it a significant advancement for smaller organizations.
