California toddler dies after finding and firing hidden gun

A two-year-old boy has passed away in California after he unintentionally shot himself with a firearm that had been tucked away in the couch cushions. Following the tragedy, the child's mother and her boyfriend were taken into custody on suspicion of child abuse resulting in death.
