CAG audit highlights water facility shortages at Bengaluru railway stations
A Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report has pointed out deficiencies in essential passenger services at Bengaluru’s KSR Majestic and Yeshwantpur railway stations. The findings revealed that KSR Majestic was missing required water coolers, while Yeshwantpur station had neither drinking water taps nor coolers. Furthermore, the audit identified a lack of adequate toilets, waiting areas, urinals, and facilities for passengers with disabilities across various South Western Railway stations in Karnataka.
