BMTC clarifies UPI refund process for unsuccessful ticket bookings
The BMTC has stated that if a passenger's money is debited via UPI but the bus ticket fails to generate because of network or technical glitches, the amount will be automatically refunded within two to three business days. The transport body noted that users do not need to file a refund claim. However, if the money is not returned within the specified timeframe, passengers are encouraged to reach out to their 24/7 helpline.
