BJP includes two Muslim leaders in its latest team
The BJP's new lineup, the first since Nitin Nabin took over as party chief, features two Muslim leaders from Uttar Pradesh: Professor Tariq Mansoor and Basit Ali. Mansoor, who previously served as the vice-chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University and is currently a nominated MLC in the state, has been appointed as a National Vice-President. Meanwhile, Basit Ali has been named the president of the party's Minority Morcha in Uttar Pradesh.
