Bihar students protest for improved mid-day meals, insist on meeting SDM
In Gaya, Bihar, students from Classes 6 to 8 held a demonstration at the Tikari Sub-Divisional Office to demand improved mid-day meals and access to clean drinking water. The students stood their ground, refusing to depart until they could speak directly with the SDM. At the time of their arrival, SDM Praveen Kundan was away on a field visit. The students declined to engage with the Executive Magistrate who attempted to address their concerns.
