Bihar police to use DNA test to settle ownership dispute over buffalo
Police in Bihar have directed a DNA test for a buffalo after two individuals claimed ownership of the animal. Suraj Yadav stated that his buffalo had been stolen by Prakash Manjhi last week. However, Manjhi insisted that the animal had been taken from him four years earlier. When authorities let the buffalo loose to see where it would go, it walked to Yadav's home. Following this, Manjhi lodged a formal complaint under the SC/ST Act.
