Bengaluru Traffic Police seek public help to identify abandoned vehicles
To boost road safety and ease traffic flow, the Bengaluru Traffic Police are asking citizens to use the BTP ASTraM app to flag any abandoned vehicles they spot. So far, officials have placed notices on 1,286 such vehicles and have already towed away 172 from various locations. Residents can assist the department by uploading a picture of the vehicle along with its specific location on the app, allowing authorities to respond quickly.
