Bengaluru to tow abandoned vehicles from footpaths following 7-day warning
The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) stated on Friday that any vehicles left abandoned on public spaces or footpaths will be towed. Owners will be issued a 7-day notice, after which the vehicles will be auctioned within one week. To reclaim a vehicle before the auction takes place, owners are required to pay a penalty. During the 7-day notice period, the authorities will secure the vehicles using wheel clamps.
