Bengaluru halts two-wheeler and auto ban on key elevated corridors
The proposed prohibition of two-wheelers and autorickshaws on the International Airport Road Elevated Corridor (stretching from Sanjeev Nagar cross to Vidyashilpa junction) and the Electronic City Elevated Corridor has been suspended. Minister Priyank Kharge stated that the plan will now be rolled out in stages, with the first phase only targeting goods vehicles. However, the existing restrictions on the other three flyovers and elevated corridors will remain in effect.
