Bengaluru food safety officials raid luxury hotels; find spoiled produce and expired milk
The Karnataka Food Safety department carried out surprise inspections at various five-star hotels across Bengaluru to check on food quality, storage methods, and overall hygiene. According to reports, officials discovered and confiscated nearly 20 litres of milk that had passed its expiry date, along with a collection of decayed vegetables. The department has mobilized 30 dedicated teams for these checks and issued a warning that any major health violations will result in the cancellation of operating licences.
