Bengaluru and Delhi rank as some of the most affordable global cities for housing: Report
A recent Deutsche Bank study highlights that Bengaluru and Delhi are among the most budget-friendly locations globally to purchase city-centre apartments as of 2026. In Delhi, the typical cost for a flat in the heart of the city is approximately ₹2.37 lakh per square metre, whereas Bengaluru averages ₹1.74 lakh per square metre. Furthermore, these two cities also provide the lowest monthly rental rates worldwide.
