Bengal: ₹20 crore cash and 15 kg gold found at former bus driver's residence
West Bengal Police discovered sacks filled with cash and 15 kg of gold, valued at approximately ₹21.5 crore, during a search of a home belonging to a man who transitioned from bus driving to stone trading. Nearly ₹20 crore in cash has been seized thus far, with the tallying process ongoing. Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari stated that the operation was aimed at the base of Tullu Mondal, an alleged member of the illegal sand mafia.
