Bangladesh: 44 dead as heavy rains trigger floods and landslides
At least 44 individuals have lost their lives due to landslides and flooding triggered by intense rainfall in Bangladesh. According to the disaster management ministry on Saturday, approximately 2.67 lakh households across seven districts remain trapped. Officials reported that many residences are currently underwater or buried under thick mud. In response, military and naval forces are working to provide essential supplies, including food, clean water, and medical aid, to the impacted regions.
