Ather Energy to receive ₹200 crore investment from India-Japan Fund
The Indian government is set to contribute ₹200 crore to electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy as part of its planned ₹1,200-crore funding round. This investment will be facilitated through the India-Japan Fund (IJF), a $600 million (approximately ₹5,775 crore) joint venture supported by the Indian government and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Additionally, Hero MotoCorp is participating in the round with a ₹960 crore investment through convertible warrants.
