Assam: Rajdhani Express stopped for elephant herd crossing
A Rajdhani Express train had to be stopped in Assam so that a group of wild elephants could safely move across the railway tracks. Jayanta Mallabaruah, the Environment Minister of Assam, posted a clip of the event on social media, noting, "An unexpected halt on the tracks, but only for our adorable giants to pass." The footage captures the train coming to a stop once the elephants were spotted heading toward the path.
