Assam man crafts eco-friendly toys inspired by local legends

Kirat Brahma, a resident of Bodoland in Assam, is creating biodegradable toys for kids that draw inspiration from regional folklore, including tales of magical birds, princesses, and farmer-warriors. Brahma started crafting dolls when he was just six years old, beginning with a papier-mache bird. He eventually turned to making his own toys because the ones available to him failed to reflect the stories he grew up with. All of his creations are entirely free of plastic.
