Assam flood fatalities hit 100; 1.37 lakh residents impacted
The number of lives lost in the current Assam floods has climbed to 100, while more than 1.37 lakh individuals across seven districts continue to face the impact. Golaghat remains the hardest-hit region, affecting nearly 70,000 residents, with Sivasagar also seeing significant damage. Officials are currently managing 125 relief camps and distribution hubs throughout six districts, providing shelter to approximately 49,061 displaced people.
