Ashwini Vaishnaw: Indian IT sector should shift from SaaS to AI-as-a-Service
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has encouraged the Indian IT sector to transition from the Software-as-a-Service model toward an "AI-as-a-Service" approach, utilizing the nation's strong global standing and expert workforce. He noted that there are 12 semiconductor facilities currently in different phases of construction. Additionally, he mentioned that three of these plants are already manufacturing chips for export to Europe and Japan, as well as for use within the domestic market.
