Arunachal's Nikter Yati secures gold at international taekwondo event
Nikter Yati, representing Arunachal Pradesh, clinched a gold medal alongside teammates Nabam Nani and Sianiamalu Kri in the Under-30 Women's Team Poomsae category. The victory took place at the 9th Heroes International Taekwondo Championship in Thailand, which ran from July 31 to August 2. Yati, who comes from the isolated Gimba village in the Kra Daadi district, managed to reach this global milestone despite facing a lack of adequate sports facilities.
