This upgrade aims to boost AI capabilities to a level comparable to Nvidia’s top-tier GPU architecture. The final memory capacity will be subject to supply availability, and the chip is not anticipated to launch until at least 2028. Additionally, reports indicate that Apple is currently creating the M8 and other premium Mac processors under the internal project name "Cardinal".
