Apple's initial foldable iPhone might skip Face ID
The upcoming foldable iPhone from Apple, rumored to be named the 'iPhone Ultra', might not include Face ID. According to reports, the device could drop this feature because its 4.5-mm thin frame may not provide enough room for the TrueDepth camera hardware needed for facial recognition. As an alternative, Apple might integrate a fingerprint scanner into the power button to allow users to unlock the device.
