Apple Intelligence gets green light in China alongside Alibaba AI partnership
China's internet regulatory body has officially cleared Apple's generative AI suite, Apple Intelligence, for release. As part of this rollout, Alibaba’s Qwen AI model will be integrated across Apple’s software platforms, such as iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. According to a Reuters report, Apple is also currently negotiating with Baidu to create further AI-driven capabilities specifically for users of iPhones in China.
