Apple and Google told to pull apps capable of 'undressing' users
San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu has directed Apple and Google to take down 13 face-swapping applications that have the ability to 'undress' individuals, stating that the tech giants need to quit making money from this damaging software. Chiu noted that both companies have generated 'millions of dollars in fees' through these apps. The city attorney's office has cautioned that the firms may be subject to civil penalties if they do not follow the order.
