Andhra CM reveals pension increase and payment of overdue DA
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has declared an increase in pensions for state employees starting in 2027, alongside the distribution of two outstanding Dearness Allowance (DA) payments. Additionally, he confirmed the formation of the 12th Pay Revision Commission to look into the concerns raised by government staff. According to an official statement cited by PTI, these measures will result in an extra cost of ₹2,880 crore to the state treasury.
