A well was unearthed after the demolition of a mosque, which was reportedly illegal, located on the Saharanpur collectorate grounds in Uttar Pradesh. Saharanpur (Sadar) SDM Subodh Kumar noted that the well is estimated to be between 20 and 25 feet deep. Kumar further mentioned that teams from the ASI and the Survey of India are expected to visit the site to carry out a formal investigation.
