Amitabh Thakur applies for CEO position at Ram Temple
Retired IPS officer Amitabh Thakur has officially applied to become the CEO of the Ram Mandir Trust in Ayodhya. Thakur, who belonged to the 1992 UP cadre, was forced into compulsory retirement by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2021, with officials citing that he was not suitable for public service. The criteria for the CEO role include being a practicing Hindu between 50 and 70 years old, along with a minimum of 20 years of experience in administration.
