Amit Malviya challenges Kejriwal to lower petrol prices in Punjab

BJP leader Amit Malviya has targeted Arvind Kejriwal over his demand that petrol prices be capped at ₹84 per litre, regardless of global crude oil rates. Malviya remarked that if Kejriwal is sincere about this stance, he ought to implement it in Punjab, where the Aam Aadmi Party is currently in government. He further suggested that by cutting state VAT, the Punjab government could bring down petrol prices from the current ₹105.24 to approximately ₹86.25 per litre.
