Almost 50% of Bengaluru voters at risk of being removed from draft electoral list
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls currently underway in Karnataka might result in the exclusion of nearly half of Bengaluru's voters from the draft list, which is set to be released on August 17. During the enumeration process, 49.42 lakh individuals out of Bengaluru’s 1.03 crore registered voters were marked under the Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate, or Other (ASDDO) categories.
