Allahabad HC: 'Sar Tan Se Juda' slogan differs from 'Jai Shri Ram' or 'Allahu-Akbar'
The Allahabad High Court has stated that the chant "Gustakh-e-Nabi Ki Ek Hi Saza, Sar Tan Se Juda" acts as a direct challenge to the nation's sovereignty, integrity, and legal authority. The court further clarified that this slogan cannot be compared to religious expressions such as 'Jai Shri Ram', 'Har Har Mahadev', or 'Allahu-Akbar'. Consequently, the court rejected the bail application of Maulana Tauqeer Raza regarding his involvement in the Bareilly violence case.
