Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit appointed as new IAF Vice Chief
Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit has officially taken over as the 51st Vice Chief of the Air Staff. He replaces Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, who has stepped down following a 40-year career. Before this new role, Dixit held the position of Chief of Integrated Defence Staff starting in May 2025. He is recognized for his significant contributions to Operation Sindoor and was lately honored with the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM).
