AIMIM Corporator Mateen Patel has been taken into custody for reportedly giving refuge to Nida Khan, the primary suspect in the TCS religious conversion scandal, during the time she was avoiding capture. Authorities arrested Patel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, following his consistent failure to show up in court. It is worth noting that Nida Khan received bail for the case this past July.
