AIIMS: Fatty liver disease is a growing health concern

While India strives to meet the World Health Organisation's 2030 target of eradicating viral hepatitis, experts at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi warned on Tuesday that it is not the nation's sole liver-related issue. They noted that fatty liver disease has become a significant problem, currently impacting more than 33% of the population.
