On Thursday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay's party, TVK, saw a significant influx of members as four former AIADMK ministers, including C Vijayabaskar and MR Vijayabhaskar, joined its ranks. They were accompanied by numerous former MLAs and thousands of party supporters. Both C Vijayabaskar and MR Vijayabhaskar have stepped down from their respective Assembly constituencies of Viralimalai and Karur. TVK leader KA Sengottaiyan welcomed the new members, noting that they decided to switch sides due to their dissatisfaction with the current AIADMK leadership.
